Legia Warszawa is looking to strengthen its squad in the current transfer window and has already completed three signings. Zoran Arsenić, Ivan Brkić, and Łukasz Zjawiński have joined the club. Now, according to reports from Italian media, the 'Wojskowi' aim to sign the captain of Italian club Spezia, Petko Hristov. Negotiations between Spezia and Swiss club Lugano are complicated, which may open the door for Legia Warszawa. The Swiss need to sell their defender, Papadopoulos, before finalizing Hristov's transfer. Legia Warszawa, which has already dealt with former Orły players like Arkadiusz Reca and Antonio Colak this season, could take advantage of Spezia's difficulties. Armando Napoletano from 'Il Secolo XIX' reports that Legia is interested in acquiring Hristov, who has been with Spezia since 2021. Previously, he played for Fiorentina, where he was frequently loaned out. Spezia expects at least 1.5 million euros for their captain, which could pose a challenge for Legia given their financial issues that force the club to make cashless transfers and loans.
